George Baker is now a Flood Risk Consultant

Create are thrilled to announce that George Baker has been promoted to the role of Flood Risk Consultant.

George joined us in 2022 as a graduate and made an instant impact. His enthusiasm and can-do attitude have served him greatly and it is no surprise to us that he has become a popular character amongst our Norwich office and the wider business.

A proactive individual, George has never shied away from the challenges which have often be presented to him by Technical Director, Graham Sinclair and the wider team. Whether he has been working alone or as part of the water team, George has consistently improved his technical understanding and abilities. He has become highly proficient with GIS software, which has enabled the Water & Flood Risk team to take on increasingly more complex projects. George has also vastly expanded his proficiency in a number of water, flood risk and drainage related tasks through active project experience. He has also undertaken training and development in house on hydraulic modelling under the expert tuition of Harry Mansfield.

In his new role, George will take on more responsibilities and play a more active role in managing projects day to day.

His creativity and passion combined with his uncanny ability to pick-up new software with complete ease will no doubt place him in good stead for the future.
